my days

everytime i see the light
i wake up and i smile
i see the day and think i might
start my life again

when i see the dark grey clouds
i feel lazy all day long
i feel like singing to the crowds
but i cant cause of all the rain

when i slumber peacefully
i dream of dancing on a stage
and while I dance so gracefully
I thank god for his grace

why cant life be always grand
it could be better in many ways
when i smile at this poor land
i think tomorrows another day
